Deep Woods

The farther you delve into the Far Lands, the darker the sky around you seems to become. Many don't manage to make it even this far, yet the road ahead of you grows only tougher. Water flows freely near you in a variety of brooks and streams, though one can only wonder as to the safety of the liquid, deriving from a place such as this. Imprints of footsteps nearly as large as the average man lay stomped into the ground throughout the woods, the effect of which is only coupled by the occasional mass of trees that seems to have been trampled and crushed in various bouts of activity. Occasionally, the sound of such fights echos throughout the woods - the sound of two great beasts fighting teeth and nail to best the other. Rarer still, the hulking shadow of some lumbering giant can be seen lumbering just over the height of the trees.
