Come out and play! We shout at you, like the children of your youth.
But how, Knight! How do I play?! You respond.
I'll tell you how.
Step One: Create a character. Follow this link to access the thread detailing the character creation process. The general gist is simple; you copy the box of text and code found at the bottom of the thread, and paste the information into a thread of your own. If you wish to adhere to the status quo, enter your character's name as the subject. The subject line is not a mandatory step, but does provide your thread a neater appearance that conforms well with the rest of the applications. Paste the text into the thread's body, and review the blips of text detailing the various sections. This text describing the portions of the template should be eliminated and replaced instead with information relevant to your character.
Step Two: Take a look around. You may want to take a moment to review both the world and the lore. You can browse the various forums and subforums; they are designed in such a way that will hopefully act to inspire a sense of exploration and imagination - upon a second look, you may find paths you missed previously, and there are always more secrets to uncover, hidden and locked locations to uncover. You can find a listing of the land's important locations and their respective lore here. If, after reviewing the lore, you have a desire to edit your character further, it is more than acceptable to do so.
Step Three: Get involved! Nobody here bites - not hard enough to cause serious injury in any case, and proper dental hygiene is mandatory, so there's no reasons to worry about infections.
Welcome back from the hospital! Don't hesitate to jump into a thread currently in motion. If you can't find one appropriate to your fancy, make your own! If you're clueless as to where to start, check and see if any quests are available in your given area. You may also want to check the description of whichever locale you're in; the description may give you an idea as to potential activities and subplots that could be hosted in the area.

- Joining a family or associating with a faction may provide you with more immediate buddies to journey and adventure with, in addition to providing your character with an ulterior motive.
- Plot events are frequently hosted - these can affect every aspect of the world; don't hesitate to get involved - your name might be sang as the next hero of the ages!
