It has been 4 years for some of us, I think I fall into that category.
Back in 2008 I was just starting college for Animation/ Game Design. Now I graduate this March and I am currently interning at a motion graphics studio in my city.
Right now I do alot of freelance concept art for clients and 3D modeling/texturing/rigging for games and cinematics. I looove drawing still!
But enough about me, how have you guys been!? ;D

That sounds really cool, Ann! Should've known that all was why you vanished XD
Anyways... Congratulations! You missed Al in High School, the most frightening beast ever to set foot in the fair land of Washington State. XD Honestly, I was boring. I played viola in the high school orchestra, sang in a church choir even though I gave up religion long ago, ran a bit, and rode horses when I had the money, which is to say, very rarely. My twin and I worked at horse shows and did random odd jobs at a farm to get el dinero to ride and do anything fun, really. We both took a bunch of AP classes, which were boring as heck, and drove me batshit insane (not really a drive, more like a putt, I suppose...).
I'm in college now, with my sights set on Environmental Science. Technically, I'm on the equestrian team, but I'll probably quit it. I really am not that interesting now, either... I shuffle around with a posse that goes hiking at midnight (at my suggestion...), thinks it's brilliant to stay the night on East Hastings (NOT at my suggestion!), and witnesses such events as a kid George of the Jungling into a tree and a bunch of drunks turning over a table at a restaurant. Fun stuff.

Four years, guys. Four friggin' years. xD I was in junior high last time I was on this place! That's insane!
But yeah. Hi. I'm in college, like Fearn. I ride horses. Y'all missed me when I ran hurdles, but I did that in high school. I'm still a mega nerd, though! Al's story is basically mine, so read hers a second time and add in hurdles, and you have me. Al forgot the birds part, though. We won a couple ornithology comps. in high school, so if you have a bird related question, ask us!

In 2008, I too had just graduated high school and ran off to college at Angelo State where I ran track, mostly the 800 (which I am horrible at). I studied Animal Science and am graduating in May.
Also, I was on the Intercolliegate Meat Judging team. Yes, you can make jokes, but it was very hard work with us missing about two monthes of school due to contests. We finished 10th in the nation.
I have no idea what I am doing after college. No one told me what to do afterwards. They just told me to graduate! Lol
So I'll try to find something. No idea what I want to do either.
Oh, and my school is actually thinking of trying me at the 400 hurdles this year so we have something in common Elka!

Intercollegiate Meat Judging team? haha and I thought being on the Intercollegiate Equestrian team was strange.
Hurdles are awesome, but yeah, I wasn't fast enough to keep doing it in college. I did 300s in high school, and 400s sound absolutely brutal. Good luck!
