Anne silently agreed with Peregrinus to get out of the area before the void they were in decided to crumble to pieces and collapse on top of them. She had noticed that the wheel's bright light grew stronger and stronger, to the point of blinding her. Personally, Anne knew that the energy of the wheel of rye would defeat the immortal Dark Messenger, but the princess had no idea that Apophis' defeat would come in the form of a warrior.
Before she could yell something out to Peregrinus about the swift warrior's seemingly magical abilities, Anne saw that the immortal Apophis had released Fearn and Elka, and was gripping his face while bursts of black liquid emitted from his face. The female warrior watched the battle between the two in awe, for she had never seen any warrior of his skills or attire before in her life.
Moments later, the immortal god was cringing to the ground, looking as if his form were reducing into the organic form of a large black puddle. He began to curse and promise his revenge on his enemies in a language that could not be understood by mere mortals, and the monster's remains seemed to disintegrate and burn into ash. Not the one to lose a fight, Apophis made one last attempt to do harm to someone, and leapt at Anne, wanting to consume her within his melting form.
Breaking away from Peregrinus, the princess skidded to the side of the god, holding out both of her arms to reveal her brightly glowing dragon's eye to the beast one last final time. With the oracle's holy energy and the dragon eye's mystic energy combined, the force threw Apophis back into the ground, and his form evaporated, ceasing to exist anymore. Anne's legs failed beneath her and she dropped to the ground, exhausted. The princess started to look around frantically for the main reason she wanted to come to the island in the first place, the immortal god's weapon.
"It must've been destroyed along with him" she said unenthusiastically, she pounded the ground with her fist out of anger, for she had failed her mission. Anne soon arose from the floor, looking up at the warrior who had rendered Apophis helpless. She did not feel too threatened by his presence, but she was bewildered by his abnormal skills and appearance. She spoke to him fearlessly and boldly, in order to hide her admiration for his battle skills.
"W-Who are you, warrior!? Where do you come from!?" Anne's brown eyes glared at the newcomer as she stood there readily in case he was indeed an enemy.

The unknown person had watched the remainder of the King's last moments from the ceiling. everything was quiet now, despite the wind blowing along with the minor crumbling of debris from the ruined battleground. It was so quiet that the girl's voice echoed down below in the distance. The warrior's eyes glared coldly at the girl below...
"my name?...." he thought to himself mentally.
He had never referred to his nameless self ever since.. suddenly a flashback image played in his mind to a time remembering what his mother use to refer to him as when he was still with her, while she gently brushed her child's hair.
"Mivelle, my little son...listen.." whispered his gentle mother.
The flashback ended abruptly as it were back to the present, with this warrior shaking his head and openeing his eyes once again. Finally, his memories would allow him to answer.
"My name is...Mivelle.."
He chose to ignore the second question for certain personal reasons.. Taking note of the two lesser minions of the King, he deemed them as no immediate threat. Therefore there was no longer a reason for him to stay, he thought to himself. He closed his eyes and turned his back toward the strangers below him, as he looked into the sky, ridden with dark colors of brown and greyish orange with black clouds. Mivelle, this mysterious person, calmly lept ontop of the eroding ceiling and began to walk away without any further words.

Anne smiled warmly. "Miville, eh? What a mysterious individual, seems pretty skilled though."
The princess started to yell out something else but she was taken by surprise as he began to abruptly walk away, then he was pretty much gone. She decided to pursue the new warrior, but ran back over to Elka and Fearn first."
"This is all my fault, you two were about to be applesauce 'cause of me. I'm sorry, I won't do anything like this ever again..." Anne held her head somewhat low and submissively, however, she already knew she was going to plunge herself into another chaotic and dangerous situation as soon as they left the island. She couldn't help herself, she loved excitement, violence, and adventure.
Anne darted out of the throne room door, and climbed a series of debris so she could talk face to face with this mysterious individual she had met. She intersected the warrior's path, standing firmly in front of him. The brunette tilted her head curiously at him, displaying her Aquarius traits. At one point, she wondered if Miville was from another time era.
"Why are you leaving so quickly, Miville? Thanks for helpin' out with Apophis, and I'm sure my friends down there would love to meet you. Your battle skills are very impressive." Anne chuckled somewhat, despite her battle-scared appearance.
"Yeah, my name is Ann--- er, Knife, you can call me Knife. Nice to meet ya. You're welcome to travel the seas with me and my friends if you're wanting to get off this island. We're headed to the island to the north." Anne spoke politely to him.

Fearn watched as Mivelle finished off Apophis from behind a piece of ceiling. She certainly didn't want any involvment, not after being mistaken for a sponge. After the god was dead enough, she came out, glaring and grumpily kicking at rocks and debris that littered the floor.
"You're a flighty one, aren't you, Mivelle?" Fearn said flatly, before picking up a rock and hurling it at a picture frame on the wall. She found it very gratifying to see the picture fall and the frame smash. Nevermind that if she hadn't broken it, it could have fetched quite a lot of money. "Running off so soon, it would seem as if you had better things to do. Not that I can think of anything to do on this island. I guess you could kill snakes, that's exciting."
The girl looked at Anne in semi-amusement after she 'appologized'. "Sorry? Riiight... Now we go off to be made into mincemeat somewhere else. Oh well, I suppose it's better than applesauce," she commented.
Fearn plopped down on top of a piece of ceiling, and watched Mivelle leave. She wanted to leave as well, and get back to the ship. "So, why are we all waiting around?" she asked, kicking her feet against the debris.

Mivelle was intercepted by the girl from before and stopped in his tracks as she stood infront of him. He stared slightly downwardly at the little one as she tilted her head, staring into him with her large doe-like eyes, completely contrasting to his thin cold glaring eyes..He listened to her entire proposal while in silence, and afterward faced the floor with his eyes closed.
"...I never asked your name, dear.." he said with no emotion whatsoever.
He opened his eyes and peered deeply into her soul, with a glare as if she were nothing to him. Then unexpectedly, he reached his hand out toward her and gently wiped a small smudge of ash debris from underneath her eye on her soft cheek.
"My apologies....I'd rather travel alone." Mivelle said calmly.
After wiping Knife's face, he slowly pulled his hand back down to his side to rest upon the hilt of one of his blades. He walked past the girl so quietly and closely that from the side it looked as if he were a ghost walking directly through her as she remained still. Mivelle found his way to the lost isles on his own, and he would find his own way off of it...

Pere was rather taken aback by the sudden destruction of the once powerful god. However, from the sound of it, they might run into him again. The new warrior was, in Pere's eyes, someone to be in slight distrust. Nothing was known about him. Why he was here? Who he worked for? These questions bothered the ranger as the newcomer disappeared into the fog. Nodding his head towards Fearn, Pere tried to force his face into a grin.
"I agree with Fearn. Let's get out of this place."

Elka backed away from the god's remains with a curse. "Not so immortal, now is he?" she said, giving her dog a pat on the head. "We beat him, Rolfie! Sort of..."
Staring unashamedly at the newcomer, Elka sat on the crumbled ceiling next to Fearn. "Bet he thinks he's so cool now," she said mockingly, a little grumpy at getting swung around in the air moments before. "Hey, if he wants to go out on his own, he can do that, I don't care. Just as long as he doesn't get it into his head that he needs to go and blast me like he did to that cursed 'god' over there."
Hopping off the rubble she sat on, she stomped over to her dog, grabbing his collar. She looked over at the others, not sure of what to say next. "That smile looks really weird, Pere," she said finally, holding back a laugh. "I'm hungry, As soon as we can get Dante back into his right mind, I'm getting out of here."

".....!?" Anne was silently taken by surprise as Miville wiped a smudge from off her face. She became a little bit more shy and also became alot more confused about Miville in general. First he had treated her like he didn't care that she existed, then he was brushing debris from her face. The princess had not been this mixed up in her head for a long time. She stayed silent for a moment looking Miville "float" away, but then her bold side suddenly came out.
"Hey, you pretty much showed up right after I activated the Wheel of Rye's energy, not to mention that you got rid of Apophis." Anne fearlessly grabbed his arm, restaining him from proceeding away from her any further. She was still fascinated with his weapons, since she was more accustomed to seeing european weaponry, not japanese.
"Are you some kinda higher entity? If you are, it'd be really beneficial to have you around since me and my friends are on a journey to the Legendary pathway. I'm sure you've heard of it. I have one of the last authentic maps to the pathway. Wouldn't you like to see what lies at the end of the pathway, it'll be the ultimate discovery, since no one has ever made it there before." Anne spoke to him in a serious, almost business-like tone.
"Personally, I'd like to learn more about you. If I find that you're an old enemy that took part in destroying my kingdom, however, I'll personally put an end to your life myself." the princess's soft expression quickly transformed into that of a hardened war-trained knight, ready to slay anyone who opposed her kingdom.

Fearn watched as Anne went to confront Mivelle again. "Er... I'll be back at the ship," she decided, not wanting to get involved. She had a habit of making situations worse rather than better, especially when those situations regarded other people.
Outside of the room, Fearn once again was stuck with the problem of being lost. Before, she had Rolf to help her. This time, there was no brilliant nose. Cursing, Fearn started walking hall that she had thought she came from. She talked to herself as she went back, trying to remember where she had come from. Finally, she came to the booby trapped hallway.
Fearn rolled her eyes in annoyance, not looking forward to the fun she would have getting out of the hall. Vaulting over ditches after nearly being made into a crepe wasn't exactly comfortable. As she dodged and bolted her way through, she let out more manly grunts than were made by a weight lifting team in a year. When she reached the demon falling partition, she stood in front of it blankly, and then yelled savagely as she threw herself under it.
On the other side, Fearn realized she would have to climb up the wall to get out. That was just lovely. She had fallen down, but there was no way to just fall up. So she dragged herself up the side of the rocks using ferns and little footholds she found, praying that she wouldn't fall back down. At the top, she sprawled on the ground for a few minutes and praised whatever diety had allowed her to escape. Then she went to find Aurum.
Fearn didn't want to yell or whistle or do anything loud to call her pony, not when there were potentially loads of dangerous creatures and beings out there that would hear her. Instead, she went around looking for Aurum, not expecting her to have gone far. Luckily for Fearn, Aurum had not wandered off into neverland. Spotting her, Fearn ran up stiffly. "Horse!" she yelled madly, before plastering herself around Aurum's neck in a hug.
After that, Fearn didn't know what to do. She was standing around with a pony, and no idea how to get back to the ship. So she chose to wait for Anne, Dante, Pere, or Elka to come traipsing out of the ground instead.

Mivelle felt a tight sudden grip on his right arm, as he once again stopped in his tracks. His silence seemed to be of an controlled mood switch. From being calm, he now reverted back to his innate murderous personality. Mivelle slowly slid his left hand downward from the butt of his hilt down to grip the scabbard, as he turned his head just enough to look over his shoulder, although from knife's view his face was completely hidden within his long hair. Mivelle's gripped hand extended his thumb to push the handle of his blade nearly an inch upwardly, as if preparing to draw his blade with intentions of leaving the defiant girl armless.
"...Release my arm, please." He calmly pleaded, "I've nothing to do with the present state of your origin, nor do I care.."
What Mivelle said next would further raise suspicion of his origin, leading knife to believe what she had asked him earlier to be true in some ways.
"I have no intentions of dealing with the likes of your kind..."
They both stood locked in the firm stances they've placed themselves in, as there was a long silence between the two..

ooc: hey, mivelle could you post a profile? that way we kind of know more about you.
Pere, although outward appearance appeared otherwise, was intentally watching the two fighters engage each other. It wasn't the fact that he was worried or jealous. There was just something not right with that Mivelle guy. Something that didn't sit easy in his stomache. And if there was one thing he was taught about being a ranger, it was always trust your gut.

Anne glared at Miville right in the eyes as her "ally request" was rejected. She slowly released his arm, not breaking her glare at him. "My kind?" Anne echoed in her head, started to ponder if Miville was indeed, some sort of alien from another country, or perhaps, another world.
Anne snarled slightly from the side of her lips and quickly turned her back on Miville, her cape flowing behind her. "I see. Once a nomad, always a nomad." Anne began to walk away from the mysterious warrior, somewhat wondering if he was now her enemy. Her dragon's eye still reflected light from its surface vibrantly due to the sunset, and temporarily shot a bright beam of sun into Miville's eyes, like the orb was secretly getting back at Miville due to his comments to Anne.
After pouncing from debris to debris, the female warrior reached her friends once again, smiling in a relieved way.
"Hey! Let's get outta here! We've been sidetracked for way too long!" Anne smirked, then sprinted out of the booby-trapped hallway, dodging its obstacles almost playfully. She climbed out of the hole that she fell through using a long spear, and met the familiar thick atmosphere of fog once again.
"Ahhh, fresh fog..." Anne inhaled deeply. She looked off into the distance, noticing that the fog was starting to clear up. "Hm, must've been Apophis. I wonder how that village is doing..."

bishop looked at the defeat of the god with a weird smirk and said "wow that kid got game but he looks fimaliar though." bishop looked around and then said "now who is going to get my place back with the gods?"
bishop was thinking about escaping with some loot but then he thought about how fun it would be to tag along with these people. bishop then ran after anna and then when he caught up to her he then said "can you help me with a small problem?"

"Bishop, I still don't trust you," Elka commented blandly, trotting out of the room after the others. She'd seen enough of him, after he had blatantly joined with the now-dead god.
Hurriedly, she hopped around the traps. She was almost to the end of the tunnel when one of the knives falling from the ceiling barely caught on the edge of her sleeve. Silently swearing, she ran on, trying to be more careful now than she had been before. No use losing her head now, after just having survived almost getting squished by a rather childish god.
One she reached to end of the cavern, she faced a dilema: How in the world was she supposed to get both herself and the dog out? Grumbling to herself, she laid a stack of spears against the wall, and with an unladylike grunt began to climb, one hand on the dog, and one on the spears. It seemed to take forever, but eventually she reached the top. There were some times when she really regretted getting a dog...
Outside the tunnel, she grumpily began to retrace her footsteps back to where they had started. She hadn't gotten too far before she saw Anne and the others (including Aurum) waiting at the top. "Hi!" she said, trying to sound cheerful. "See you all found your way out okay. Lovely. Man, would my parents ever kill me if they knew what I did today..." she continued with a grin. "Wonder if they've ever been almost squashed flat."

"I doubt it." Knight said with a slight smile at Elka, as he climbed out of the tunnel. "So, back to the ship, or does anyone else have any other matters to settle with a god?" He asked sarcastically. "And I would expect you to present us with proof that we can trust you before you expect us to help you with whatever 'problem' you might have, Bishop."
((Whew, a lot of "you's" in that last sentence...)

Dante just followed everyone else. He rubbed his head because he had a small headache, and he still had no clue what had happened in the last hour or two. He wasn't sure who this Bishop guy was and he didn't trust him, but he kept his opinion to himself. Dante was less talkitive than usual. He didn't really talk much and tried not to get involved into conversations. He was about to get on the boat untill he remembered the village. He quickly sprinted as fast as he could down the tunnel and past the traps. Then he climbed into the mansion and went to the village and saw that everyone was circled around something.
Dante walked over to see what they were standing around and saw the kings body. The king smiled at his mother then whispered in her ear. Then died peacefully. He saw one tear roll down his mothers cheek then she laid down his body. The mother took the kings crown then put it on her head. She looked at Dante then walked over to him. "Please give our appreciation to your friends for freeing the king from the evil shadow." Dante nodded then went back over to were his friends were. "Well I'm ready to go when everyone else is...." He said then started towards the boat.

After boarding back onto the pirate ship, Anne promptly started readying the ship to set sail against the steady ocean winds. On the outside she seemed energetic and un-troubled, but in reality she was severely fatigued; physically and mentally. She wasn't as spunky as usual and was in desperate need of rest and medical care due to all her bruises and wounds.
"Come on everyone, if we set sail within the hour, we'll be back on track and we'll be at the rightful island by morning." Anne looked as if it hurt her to even stand up straight. She slowly descended to the floor of the deck, and laid on her back, putting her hands behind her head. She gazed up at the stars in the night sky, letting her body rid itself of fatigue. She took her armor off, tossing it aside so nothing was weighing her down.
"Yeah...." Anne began to fall asleep on the wooden ship deck and was soon completely silent, being completely content with the spot she had picked. "that sky sure is beautiful tonight... zzzz"
Anne wiped away the blood that was still slowly seeping from a wound in her leg she got from Apophis earlier.

Fearn dragged herself onto Aurum and nudged the pony forwards to follow everyone onto the ship. She tried hard not to fall asleep, but didn't succeed, and kept waking up to find herself nearly falling sideways off of Aurum's back.
"You just nearly tried to kill us, why should we trust you?" Fearn said to Bishop, covering up a yawn. "I'm tired..."
Though she had just noticed Dante was gone, Fearn didn't really care. She kept riding, and trying not to fall off. Finally, she was back at the ship. Letting down the ramp, she pulled Aurum up and into her stall.
Looking out one last time, Fearn noticed that Dante was coming back. She muttered something which made absolutely no sense to herself, and went to go find somewhere to sleep. Apparently Anne was happy with the deck.
"Knife, is it really necessary for you to sit there? You're creating a tripping hazard and getting blood all over," Fearn said, once again not making much sense. Not wanting to join in the deck slumber party, she then went back to Aurum's stall, curled up in a corner, and went to sleep there.
