The ridge of mountains composing Dragon's Spine stand at the northernmost point of the lands - their towering cliffs overlook the rest of the world as a sort of silent sentinel. Cruel and dangerous creatures lie at its peak; the apex beast of this northern landscape are the mighty dragons.
The land lies almost untouched by the hand of man, and as such is still overran with the wildness of nature. The only individuals capable of calling it home are a small settlement of monks and nuns seeking to live in attunement with the great spirits, however, these are increasingly few in number. Certain individuals attempt pilgrimages of the mountain for reasons spiritual, religious, or otherwise personal.

A glacier isle surrounded by the Northern Sea. Its temperate and substance make for rocky travel. Citizens residing on the island, both human and non, have acclimated to the harsh way of life. Rocky crags and cliffs make up much of the island's composition; the snow has been known to give way to sudden drops. The temperature frequently reaches subarctic levels, and as such, dehydration and hypothermia prove very real dangers to those trekking the island. Harsh waves lap at its shores, goading beachgoers to slip into their darkness.

Sitting far off the northern coast lies W'alkri. The mountain, blacker than the dark of night, forces its way through the depths of the ocean. This deity spits liquid fire into the air and water around it; these fits have given way to the small circle of land surrounding the god. The occurrences of these bursts of anger are rare. They can span days or years, and are thought to signal either the need for, or the coming of, great change in the lands.
The god himself is still young, and there are no things to attract most voyagers; as such, this is not a destination frequently traveled to. However, many men and women seeking to prove themselves as warriors, or to earn the boon of the god - the god of rage, and fire, and combat, make pilgrimage to the island. Many of these don't return - the god swallows them whole.

Northern Sea

The northern sea is cold and harsh; its dark waters offer no welcome to a weary traveler.

Storms tend to be more frequent on these waters than they do on their southern counterparts, and sailors have recounted strange tellings of their journey - the sea has been said to spring leaks, as if somebody pulled free a great drain at its basin. The great god W'alkri has also been said to reside within these waters, and is known to blanket the sky with fire upon angering. Even still, life thrives within the ocean. Too cold for many of the larger beasts that lurk beneath southern waters, smaller dangers, such as teethed fish and great sharks still populate this colder area. The only path frequented by merchants on this stretch of water is a beeline from the docks of Haven to the island of Aries.

Elka: This would make it so one person's voice for a character doesn't become overwhelming.

reisamu: I actually like Elka's idea... We could see the interpretations. However, I'm not so sure about it being a week for people to play a certain character. Maybe at the max, 3 days, but a week would expend a lot of time... And I believe a person would know
