Gold Road, the title given to the world's largest trade and travel route. Multiple ships can be seen sailing throughout this route at any given time.
Those attempting to maneuver safely across the sea can follow this - it heeds safe passage to those traveling, typically.
Pirates are proving themselves to be an ever more common threat, though the militaristic ships patrolling this route seem to do a decent job at fighting them off.
Perhaps you aim to test your mettle against a few of the dastards?
Or maybe you're hoping to engage in some less than civil activities, yourself.

A largely unexplored island, populated by a strange tribal people.
Rumors speculate that the tribe is of a cannibalistic nature, but there's nothing concrete proving or disproving that.
The island itself is lush, and covered in dense vegetation. There are a variety of freshwater springs and rivers trickling throughout the island, culminating in several larger waterfalls. The water is rumored to heal wounds and reduce aging.
Strange creatures, furried and human-like, can be found within the forests.S

It's the end of the world.
Seriously.
Don't sail too far out.
not only is this part of the sea miles out of reach of any civilization, or intelligent people [it takes a mighty stupid one to make it this far out], it's littered with gigantic monsters, lurking just beneath the water's edge.
the current continues to increase, the further out you sail.
it climaxes in a gigantic waterfall, seemingly rushing off the edge of the planet. this creates an abhorrent amount of mist, the likes of which blankets the sea for miles. It's said that by the time you reach the mists, it's already too late.

South Sea
The south sea rests as a much safer precipice than that of the North.
Its warm temperature bodes well for adventurers; its large mark of unexplored territory and islands coupled with its renowned for hosting so many renegades promises treasure and adventure to any man or woman deeming themselves capable of standing to the challenge.
These waters are commonly populated by ships in all marks of its territory, however several dangers still leave sailors cautious - strange, monstrous beasts are said to lurk its depths; from the multi-headed titan of a serpent to the moving island of Turqen, one can never be sure what to expect when treading these waters. However, in the eyes of many, the danger of these hidden monsters fades when faced with the idea of plummeting beyond the edge of the world.

Elka: This would make it so one person's voice for a character doesn't become overwhelming.
reisamu: I actually like Elka's idea... We could see the interpretations. However, I'm not so sure about it being a week for people to play a certain character. Maybe at the max, 3 days, but a week would expend a lot of time... And I believe a person would know
