A crudely constructed black-market arena, the thing is divided into three sections - that of men on men, beast on beast, and man on beast. All fights are to the death, but the victors are paid nicely.
While such events may be not be legal in the kingdoms, the law has no hold here.
As hostile as the populace may be towards its strangers, they're more than willing to allow any person to compete here. Surviving is a thing easier said than done, as the fighters of this city often prove themselves slightly less than chivalrous, and the victor still needs to worry about claiming the money earned.
Discomfortingly enough, the arena seating fills out quickly, often with men and women not native to this area.
Men and women found as intruders of the city or claimed to be spies or other sorts of insurgents from other cities are often forced to fight for their lives here. The odds are rarely in their favor.
