The Library

The library is amongst the school's biggest pride; its collection of books and tomes rivals the largest of any nation - and surpasses such, in many instances. Given its size and importance, those charged with caring for it see their job as a very serious matter. The library is dark, though carrying any sort of flame into its depths is enough to warrant expulsion from both the library and the school. Instead, gemstones enchanted with a spark of light are rented out to students at the welcoming desk. Several tables and chairs are lined out within the library so that students can make use of the books without extracting them from the building. This is a necessary exercise for certain rarer tomes, whose worth makes them unable to be rented out.
The rows of books reach to the ceiling, and ladders and step-stools are littered throughout to enable a student to reach texts on higher levels. The darkness grows deeper as a student progresses. It's not uncommon for a person to find themselves lost within its expansiveness upon their first visit, and rumors of secret passageways and rooms located within the darker areas circulate commonly, though remain unconfirmed.
The library is accessible to any individual, though fees are charged to non-students and records of any traveler visiting are diligently recorded.

The Courtyard

The courtyard sits in the center of the school's form. It has been designed in a way so as to allow as much of the sun's light in as possible. Its grounds have been cultivated in a way that allows the growth of a thin layer of grass. Certain students have taken it upon themselves to transfer a small amount of flowers from the park to the courtyard, adding in another splash of color. Only two benches, constructed of wood, are situated within the court yard. The school's walls contain the courtyard into a square-shape, and on either side lies an entry back into the academy.

The Greenhouse

The greenhouse is a glass structure that acts as the home to thousands of imported species, both exotic and native. Several of the things in here shake and stir, certain ones make strange noises or emit curious odors. Many are dangerous to the untrained hand and eye; as such, entry is barred for the common person.
Within, the plants, trees, and fruits, are laid out in an assortment of rows organized in a fashion recognizable only to those familiar with the greenhouse. At the entrance are laid out a series of protective equipments, such as woolen aprons and leather gloves. Alchemists and botanists take to this area with great curiosity.

Floor One

The first floor, being closest to the greenhouse and courtyard, serves as the home to more magical based studies, such as alchemy and inscription.

Floor Two

The second floor is reserved for more technical classes, such as the maths, languages, and writing. A small dining facility is found within this floor, manned by a surprisingly small amount of chefs and servers. Many students take their meals to go, preferring to eat in their own dormitories or the courtyard rather than the blandness of the cafeteria, leaving the area strangely empty.

Floor Three

The final level holds more abstract courses, such as astronomy and lectures vividly detailing the deities and other spirits residing within the lands. The classrooms on the third floor are fewer in number; much of the third floor is designated to the dormitories of boarding students, though some choose to live elsewhere still.

The Rooftop

The rooftop is an area whose population differs by the day. Many take their meals to the roof of the school, and certain instructors choose to host lectures atop the school's surface. Its expanse gives way to the serene visage of the rest of the Throne, and much of its surrounding area.

Board Description
The School of Voreen
The School of Voreen was crafted in dedication to and helmed initially by one of Den's most compassionate sons; Voreen. Those seeking to follow this deity relish in the wisdom found in this path, and congregated together to further their education.
The School is divided into three separate levels, and is worked by a variety of teachers and instructors. Its mass is made entirely of stone, though several windows decorating the walls allow visage in and out of the building.
Many risk a pilgrimage to the Throne for just a chance to attend its school, however, admissions are admitted only after completion of a series of stringent reviews and interviews. Programs of all sorts are orchestrated here, ranging from basic math to strategies of war, from alchemy to magic-wielding.

Elka: This would make it so one person's voice for a character doesn't become overwhelming.
reisamu: I actually like Elka's idea... We could see the interpretations. However, I'm not so sure about it being a week for people to play a certain character. Maybe at the max, 3 days, but a week would expend a lot of time... And I believe a person would know
reisamu: whether they are comfortable with a character within the first day, or even hours pending on how much they put into it y'know?
Rehjul: Hi, guys; sorry for my recent absence - been tackling a lot of issues. Heading out to run some drills with the fire department right now; once I get back I'll be able to finish work on the forums. I think your idea would work very well, Elka. The length of
Rehjul: the rotations can be discussed later. I'll create a thread regarding it once I get back.
jalista: I think that's a good idea, but maybe 3 threads instead of three days? Three days isn't long if your partner isn't really active.
reisamu: No worries Knight. I must apologize for my absence here as well. Work and school have been getting the better of me. I have been working on my character sheet little by little though. So expect that soon. ^^
Aria: Hey guys! sorry about the absence... School started in fast for me, but i think i've finally gotten the feel of it. I agree with Elka rotating the position but maybe in giving that person a post limit instead of a time limit, since it takes some people to
Aria: more time to reply than others! Otherwise canons (as sean knows) would be a great idea to get things really started here on the forum.
Rehjul: Okay. I'm officially back now.
Rehjul: I'm very excited to see what sort of character you come up with, Reisamu, and am looking forward to having you begin adventuring with us!
Rehjul: I'd also fully support Jalista's idea. I believe that may be the best way to go, though I would perhaps bump that to five threads.
Rehjul: Sorry, Jalista. I was hoping to have a reply up before classes began, but it doesn't seem like that will be happening. However, it'll be completed and posted as soon as I return.
jalista: I'll hopefully have a reply up for you tonight, Knight.
Rehjul: Sorry for the wait - I'll have yours posted tonight!
Rehjul: Okay! I was a day later than I'd hoped to be, but it is up!
Elka: Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't been around. Work was rough the last two weeks. I'm done with it now until school, though, so I hope to be able to start getting things done soon and join a thread here.
Rehjul: Not a problem! Real life should definitely take precedent, and I hope things have gotten better with your job. I've spoken to Reisamu, and he'll hopefully have his character up and be ready to join in soon, too. The two of you may be able to get something
Rehjul: worked out, if either of you held an interest.
Elka: .
